Fleet Maull co-facilitated a Zen Peacemaker organized international peace gathering in the West Bank city of Bethlehem in 2001.

Violence and Genocide Prevention

Fleet Maull has served as a spirit holder and retreat leader and trainer at the annual Auschwitz-Birkenau Bearing Witness Retreat in Poland since 2001. He co-founded the Rwanda Bearing Witness Retreat and Peace Initiative in 2010.

Transforming Youth Violence

Fleet was a featured speaker and trainer at the 2013 Imagining Peace in Chicago organized by the Chicago Shambhala Center and co-chaired by Mayor Rahm Emmanuel, addressing issues of youth violence on the streets of Chicago and inviting a group of over 600 youth and adults from violence torn Chicago neighborhoods to imagine the peace that wants to emerge in their communities.


Through Prison Mindfulness Institute, Fleet has provided staff training at the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence in Providence, Rhode Island, a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing gang related youth violence on the streets of Providence.
