Engaged Mindfulness Teacher Training

What You’ll Learn:
- Classical and modern scientific foundations for mindfulness practice.

- How to develop an effective teaching and facilitation style.

You Will Be Trained To:
- Give instruction to individuals and small groups for basic mindfulness practices, basic empathy and compassion training meditations and basic mindful yoga postures and routines
- Guide and facilitate basic mindfulness meditations, empathy and compassion training meditations, and basic mindful yoga sessions with small groups.
- Skillfully engage with and facilitate small groups and/or effectively engage students in a classroom setting.
- Teach mindfulness and facilitate mindfulness-based interventions and programs in a manner appropriate to the interest, cultural and educational background and health status of the individuals and groups you are working with, e.g., lead a mindfulness group in a prison for prisoners or staff; in a psychotherapy or medical setting for clients, patients or staff; in a community agency or nonprofit organization with clients or staff; in a school setting with students, teachers or administrative staff.
